The Nominations for the 2024 Grammy awards are out.
Eight artists are in the running for Song of the Year including Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Lana Del Rey, Former Late Show band leader Jon Batiste, Miley Cyrus, SZA, Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift.
Swift is also up for five other nominations including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo or Group Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.
A number of industry newcomers are also up for accolades under the Best New Artist Category:
They include Jelly Roll, Ice Spice, Coco Jones and Victoria Monét.
Canadian William Shatner is up for a an award, for Best Audio Book Narration and Storytelling Recording for Boldly Go: Reflections on a Life of Awe and Wonder.
The Grammy’s will take place on February 4th in Los Angeles.
