City police have arrested two Torontonians following the execution of a search warrant of a northside home Thursday.
Members with the Intelligence Unit raided the home on Faircrest Street just before the noon hour.
This came as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking activity from the address.
Two suspects were located and taken into custody as officers searched the home, seizing a quantity of suspected crack cocaine, with an estimated street value of $11,500.
A handgun, a Conducted Energy Weapon, more than $5000 in cash and drug trafficking equipment was also seized.
The 25 year old and 26 year old each face the following charges:
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
• Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
• Possession of Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
• Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon x 3
Both appeared in court Friday and were remanded into custody.
