A disturbance at a south side home Friday afternoon has resulted in the seizure of suspected drugs and cash, along with the arrest of a 15 year old Toronto teenager.
Officers arrived at the apartment just after 2:30 p.m. and located the 15 year old suspected of being involved in drug trafficking activity.
Police say they believe this to be part of a home takeover.
Among the drugs seized was a quantity of crack cocaine and fentanyl, as well as items associated with the drug trade.
The teen was arrested following a brief struggle and while in custody he provided a fake name to police, however an investigation later confirmed his true identity.
Charges include:
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
• Obstruct Peace Officer
• Resist Peace Officer
• Unlawfully in a Dwelling
• Failure to Comply with a Release Order x 3
Following a court appearance Saturday, he was remanded into custody.
