A report of a motor vehicle theft and collision has resulted in charges against a Kasabonika Lake First Nation woman.
The incident occurred Saturday just before 1:00 a.m. in Sioux Lookout.
When officers located the vehicle an investigation determined the 19 year old driver was impaired.
The driver faces the charges of:
- Operation While Impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Operation While Impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Theft of Motor Vehicle
- Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle
She has been released from custody and will appear in court next month, she has also been issued a 90 day license suspension.
