It appears an angler from Timmins didn’t know what his limits were both on the lake and on the highway.
Thunder Bay Police pulled a pickup truck on Dawson Road Saturday for traveling over the posted 50 kilometre per hour speed limit.
Speaking to the driver the officer discovered the man was returning home following a fishing trip in Sioux Lookout.
Further investigation revealed he was in possession of about 40 walleye over the limit.
The investigation continues, now with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry also involved.
Charges are pending.
