The Thunder Bay Art Gallery has announced its newest Executive Director, Matthew Hills.
An art historian and curator, over the past 15 years Hills has served for many organizations across the country, most recently as the Director and Curator for Memorial University of Newfoundland’s Grenfell Art Gallery.
Originally from Muskoka,He has an MA in Critical and Curatorial Studies (Art History) from the University of British Columbia.
He takes over from Sharon Godwin, who is stepping back after 42 years with the gallery, and will fully assume the role on September 7th.
