Police make arrest in March robbery

Thunder Bay Police have arrested a 29 year old woman following a robbery at Value Village last month.

On March 23rd officers responded to the store around 9:20 p.m. and learned a suspect had attempted to steal clothing from the business.

When she was approached by staff, she refused to return the merchandise and attacked one of the employees with bear spray, before fleeing on foot with the clothing.

She was later identified through an investigation through the Break and Enter and Robbery Unit, before being located and taken into custody Tuesday.

She appeared in court Wednesday and was released on conditions.
