The driver of a northbound SUV has been charged with careless driving causing bodily harm following a three vehicle collision at the corner of Court and River Streets Wednesday afternoon.
Thunder Bay Police say the incident occurred at 3:05 p.m. when the SUV ran a red light at the intersection and struck the motorcycle, before it struck a second SUV at the intersection.
The motorcyclist was rushed to hospital by paramedics with serious injuries, but police say those injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The 47 year old man is slated to appear in court in June.
