Thunder Bay Police have provided an update in connection to an incident which involved a heavy police presence on May Street Sunday evening.
An officer was near the intersection of May and George streets just before 6 p.m. when they observed four people, three men and one woman, fighting in a snowbank.
They intervened and broke up the fight, however one of the males had been stabbed and a second male was injured while attempting to disarm the third male who had the knife.
Those injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The accused, a 28 year old city man, has been charged with aggravated assault and failure to comply with a probation order.
He is scheduled to appear in court today.
