Ontario Provincial Police say a Winnipeg resident was the victim in a motor vehicle collision yesterday in Dorion.
The two vehicle collision occurred around 10 o’clock Wednesday morning on the Wolf River Bridge 80 km East of Thunder Bay.
Police say one of the victims, a 77 year old man from Winnipeg, was killed in the crash.
Meanwhile three others were taken to hospital, one with life threatening injuries.
A spokesperson for the OPP says that individual remains in hospital.
As well OPP will not be releasing the name of the deceased, out of respect for the family.
The collision forced the closure of the highway until 8 p.m. that evening for first responders and investigators to work.
The cause of the collision remains ongoing.
