Two 18 year olds and a 20 year old from the G-T-A have been remanded into custody in connection to a double shooting on Ambrose Street Tuesday night, which sent two people to hospital with serious injuries.
The three fled the city via an Ontario Northland bus after the shooting but were arrested by Sault Ste. Marie Police on Wednesday, all three were flown back to Thunder Bay with assistance from the Ontario Provincial Police.
Police believe the incident is connected to the drug trade here in the city, specifically as part of a home takeover situation.
Both the 18 year olds, one from Brampton, the other from Scarborough, each face two counts of attempted murder.
A 20 year old, from Toronto, faces two counts of accessory after the fact.
The two victims from Tuesday evening’s shooting remain in hospital for treatment.
Police could be seen still holding the scene Thursday afternoon, as the investigation remains ongoing.
