A main convoy leader has been released from Jail.
Tamara Lich was released from jail with a condition that she leave Ottawa, refraining from using social media, and also to have no contact with certain co-organizers.
This was a decision that came from a second judge after an appeal, as the first one on her case wasn’t convinced she would leave the nation’s capital or stop her counselling for more protests.
Lich spent 18 days in custody on charges of counselling to commit mischief.
One of the other main leaders of the occupiers, Pat King, still remains in custody in Ottawa.
