A conclusion to a long trial period in the death of Brayden Moonias.
The 18 year old was found on the beach in the Marina Park area in August 2017.
Police charged Patrick O’Keese, believing that the 26 year old man was responsible for the young mans death.
The court acquitted O’Keese on Feb.22 from the charges of second degree murder as there was no way to prove without a reasonable doubt that the suspect had committed the crimes that lead to the murder of Brayden Moonias.
O’Keese was found guilty for breaching his recognizance of not returning by a curfew, as well as not refraining from purchasing, possessing, and/or consuming alcohol.
Sentencing will take place on Feb. 23.
