Fire crews responded to reports of a fire along Strand Ave.
It was the good work of a keen eyed officer that was driving along Strand Ave Tuesday morning that saw the flames at first. They immediately alerted the home owner who was able to exit safely.
Two cars were involved that were located under a car port and flames could be seen by neighbours.
Crews were quick to respond and quickly doused the flames.
No reports of any injuries and minimal damage to the main structure of the house. However there is extensive damage to both vehicles that were involved in the fire.
