A traffic stop spurred by calls of erratic driving has led to drug charges against four people.
A Thunder Bay Police officer was patrolling the north end section of Algoma Street on the morning of Dec.12 and saw occupants in a car suspected of being involved in selling drugs.
The vehicle also matched the description from earlier reports of an erratic driver.
The police officer pulled the vehicle over and saw items consistent with drug trafficking and use. And upon further investigation collected cocaine, and suspected hydromorphone (a pain relief narcotic i.e Dilaudid) and morphine tablets.
Three men and one woman, all from Thunder Bay, were arrested.
One suspect remains in custody, while the others have future court dates.
