The Thunder Bay Police have charged a man after an investigation into an assault.
Officers responded to a call at at a home along Brodie St S & Arthur St in the early hours of Dec.6th.
While investigating a possible assault, police located the victim two blocks away near May St S and Victoria Ave with injuries consistent with being stabbed.
During the course of the investigation, police learned that the victim was at the home of the accused but refused to leave. The pair got into an argument, and when heading toward the exit the accused allegedly attacked and assaulted the victim.
The 37 year old Thunder Bay man is facing assault charges and will remain in custody with a future court date.
