City Transit workers now have a deal with the city.
A vote was held on Dec.5 to see if union members from ATU 966 would accept the most recent offer from the City of Thunder Bay.
The vote ended in favour of accepting the offer. A wage increase of 4.75 per cent will be made over three years to as well as benefit improvements.
City council will confirm the deal through a vote on Dec.20th.
The new contract would be retro-active to from July 1 2020 through to June 30 2023.
The Union, which represents 150 transit members, has been without a contract since June 2020.
