The health unit reporting 34 new cases of Covid-19 in Thunder Bay.
Five people have recovered from the virus, but one has died.
23 of the cases were contracted by in person contact, seven from travelling outside of NWO and four are being investigated. Five of the cases are happening in First Nation Communities.
There are now 127 active cases of the infection in the region.
Ontario reporting almost a thousand cases today. 959 new cases, of those 61 per cent of individuals with confirmed infections have either one shot or their vaccine status is unknown.
23,832,474 vaccine doses have been administered. 90.0% of Ontarians 12+ have 1 dose & 87.2% have 2 doses.
The number of people in ICU due to #COVID19 has dropped below 150 to 146 people. 119 are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status. 27 are fully vaccinated.
