It’s a day that is to remember those who have been killed because of hatred and discrimination because they are transgender.
Rainbow Collective Thunder Bay will be raising the Transgender Flag at City Hall from Friday November, 19 – Sunday November 21st.
This is aimed to raise awareness around those who suffer from prejudice and hate crimes because they identify as Transgender, Non-Binary, Two-Spirit, Genderqueer, Agender and other various diverse identities within the gender communities.
The local collective, LUSU Pride Central and the Metis Nation of Ontario is hosting a virtual evening vigil on Saturday November 20th at 6pm to remember those lost over the years.
