After getting the official go-ahead from the Thunder Bay Health Unit, the Parade of Lights is priming their engines for parade day.
With the parade taking place on Saturday, December 4th at 7:00pm, Thunder Bay Police are ready to contain traffic at affected major intersections.
Deputy Police Chief Ryan Hughes said that all officers participating in the parade are volunteering their time and will be off duty.
Patrol cars being used in the parade have been set aside in the planning stages to allow for no interruption of police services to the City of Thunder Bay as well officers assigned to direct traffic have been accounted for when it comes to expected incoming calls on the Saturday night.
