A single vehicle crash was reported to OPP on Hwy 11-17, west of Bylunds Pit Road on October 26th. Police were notified that the occupants of the car had a handgun.
The two occupants only had minor injuries, however the passenger was brought to the hospital for further medical treatment and also arrested by police.
The 23 year old Brampton man is facing eight charges including reckless discharge and assault with a weapon.
Investigators say that the two people knew each other and it was an isolated incident. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.
