The LCBO wall didn’t stand a chance when a woman suspected of drunk driving collided with the building.
Thunder Bay Police responded to the LCBO on Fort William Road on Wednesday Sept. 22 at 1:20pm after getting reports of the accident. Police spoke to the driver of the vehicle and noticed she was showing signs of impairment which were later confirmed at Thunder Bay Police headquarters.
The 60-year-old Thunder Bay woman is facing charges of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Operation of a Motor Vehicle While Impaired, Operation of a Motor Vehicle While Impaired Blood Alcohol Concentration. Her blood alcohol was four times the legal limit.
She has been released with conditions and a future court appearance date.
