Ten local kids are being honoured for their accomplishments
They were recognized by the Step Up Hero Awards from Dilico Anishinabek Family Care and the Children’s Aid Society.
It acknowledges kids who are making a difference at home or in the community.
Organizers say supporting children helps them grow into people who can stand up for themselves and recognize child abuse.
