Garbage bag tags are now officially required for a third bag on your collection day.
City council approved the bag tag system back in May.
Spokesperson Jason Scherband says the hope is to encourage people to cut down on trash.
He adds there will be no grace period, as plenty of time has been given for people to become aware of the program.
You can pick your garbage bag tags up at City Hall, Eco Superior and Victoriaville.
