The Canadian Lakehead Exhibition is back with it’s 125th fair.
Chair Ralph Scharf says it event brings in just over a half a million dollars.
He says it remains popular because of its rich history adding, that parents and grandparents who came to the fair when they were young are bringing their own children and keeping the tradition alive.
Scarf adds attendance normally hovers around the 60,000 mark for the five day event which begins today. (File photo)
