A Thunder Bay man is not facing any jail time after being convicted in connection with a child pornography possession charge.
A judge has sentenced 48-year-old Peter Williamson to a six month conditional sentence order and 18 months probation. Williamson is also going to be listed on the sex offender registry for 10 years.
The charge stemmed from an investigation by the local police Cyber Crime Unit at Williamson’s North Edward Street residence in August of 2013 which resulted in the seizure of a computer, an Xbox, and flash drives.
