A drug bust on a Fort Frances area First Nation has resulted in a seizure valued at more than $100,000.
Officers with the Treaty Three Police Service spearheaded the investigation and warrant execution Tuesday on the Couchiching First Nation.
There they arrested a 46 year old man, and seized a vehicle, cash and quantities of two controlled substances, oxycodone and hydromorphone.
The accused faces several charges:
- Possession for the purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of property obtained by Crime over $5000
- Careless storage of a firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Assisting in the raid were members of the Ontario Provincial Police’s Fort Frances and Kenora Street Crime Units and the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau.
