A Thunder Bay man has been arrested following an investigation into attempted murder on the city’s north side this weekend.
Officers were called to an apartment on Cumberland Street South just before 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
There they learned a male had been the victim of a serious assault, he was taken to hospital with injuries, the extent of which are unknown.
The investigation, which involves members of the Major Crimes and Forensic Identification Units led to the identification and apprehension of the 31 year old city man who has been charged with:
• Attempt to Commit Murder
• Aggravated Assault
He appeared in court on Sunday and was remanded into custody.
