Ontario Provincial Police in Fort Frances are seeking the assistance of the public as they investigate a firearm theft in the community.
Officers were called yesterday morning to a Christie Avenue home where they learned the firearm had been taken from a vehicle parked outside Wednesday night.
The shotgun is described as a Rizzine 28 gauge BR110 with a serial number 88831.
Also taken was a green or black Koplin soft case.
Anyone with information is asked to immediately contact police.
