Ontario’s Police watchdog has launched an investigation into city police following a custody injury earlier this month.
Officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service were called to a River Terrace area home on September 7th, where they took a 17 year old youth into custody.
Two days later the teenager contacted police alleging they had suffered a serious injury.
A pair of investigators have been assigned to the case anyone with information is asked to contact the Special Investigation’s Unit.
