Concerning, that is the word the Ontario Provincial Police is using to describe driving behavior from the Labour Day long weekend here in the Northwest.
More than 1300 charges were laid with 365 warnings being issued.
The most egregious was 935 speeding charges, accompanied by 12 stunt driving charges.
19 seat belt infractions were also found, along with 14 incidents of distracted driving.
Notably, and while police would have liked to have seen zero, there were only 7 incidents involving impaired drivers.
