A Marten Falls man has been charged with attempted murder in connection to an ongoing investigation at a hotel in the city.
On August 8th city police were called to a hotel in the County Fair area for an assault, that investigation later led to charges being upgraded against a 37 year old man earlier this week.
A continued investigation with members of the Major Crime Unit has resulted in a second accused being identified and location discovered.
With support of the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service, which included members of its Emergency Response Team, a 44 year old man was taken into custody in Marten Falls, before being transported to Thunder Bay.
He appeared in bail court on Friday and was remanded into custody.
