Highway 17 was closed for several hours last evening following a collision near Marathon.
Ontario Provincial Police say they responded to the incident which involved two passenger vehicles east of the community at 6:30 p.m.
An unknown number of occupants from both vehicles were taken to hospital with unspecified injuries.
The highway has since been reopened however an investigation remains ongoing.
