A section of Mapleward Road between Arthur Street and Hickory Street is expected to impact traffic today.
While the roadway is not closed, residents are asked to avoid the area and to find alternate routes if possible.
Work is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
If you do find yourself having to drive through the area, the city is asking motorists to drive with caution and to be prepared to stop in the construction area.
