A 12 year old boy and a 13 year old boy have been released from custody following an incident involving knives directed at two others during a south side incident Saturday.
Just before 1:30 p.m. Saturday police were called to the area of Edward Street South after a group of youths confronted an adult and another youth and brandished the knives.
Following an investigation both boys were located and found in possession of the knives believed to have been used during the incident.
The 12 year old has been charged with:
• Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
Meanwhile the 13 year old faces:
• Assault with a Weapon
• Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
They are set to appear in court at a later date.
