A city woman remains in custody following an investigation into an assault last month at the hospital.
Police were called to a home on August 5th after learning of a July 17th incident which occurred while a nurse at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre was on duty.
The female patient struck the nurse who was providing care, and as a result the victim suffered a concussion.
A suspect was identified and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
On Tuesday afternoon officers located and arrested the 35 year year old.
She’s been charged with:
• Assault Causing Bodily Harm
• Fail to Comply with Probation Order x 2
Following a bail court appearance Wednesday the accused was remanded into custody.
