The investigation into a shooting which sent one person to hospital and locked down a section of Cumming Street Wednesday continues.
Police have now narrowed their scope of the investigation to two locations, a unit in a Cumming Street apartment building and a home less than 100 metres away.
Police have also provided an update on the victim, stating their injuries are considered serious but not life threatening.
Officers with the Major Crimes and Forensic Identification Units are now involved and are seeking assistance from the public.
Anyone who may have video footage from home security cameras or dash cams in the area between May and McKenzie Streets from around 5:00 p.m. Wednesday and believe they may have something of value for investigators are asked to contact city police.
No description of a suspect has been made available at this time.
