Thunder Bay Police have issued an update on the search for 8 year old Emerson Poulin with new clothing descriptors and a new sighting.
A Canada wide warrant has been issued for 28 year old Christopher Poulin on the following charges:
- Abduction
- Forcible Confinement
- Breach of Release
He was last seen in the late morning hours today in the Dublin Street area in Thunder Bay.
Search efforts are now underway at locations on the north side of the city, as well a command post has been set up in the John Street Road area and Ontario Provincial Police have been brought in to assist in the search efforts.
Police have not ruled out that Poulin may attempt or is en route to Saskatchewan and are asking motorists to not pick up any hitch hikers in the area.
Poulin is described as:
• White
• Standing 5’9” tall
• Weighing 190 pounds
• Shoulder-length bleached blond hair, which he sometimes wears in a ponytail
He was last seen or believed to be wearing a white baseball cap with a green beanie underneath and a grey and white sweater.
No vehicle descriptors are available at this time.
Emerson is described as:
• White
• Standing 4′ tall
• Weighing 70 pounds
• Thin build
• Brown eyes
• Brown Hair
He was last seen wearing:
• A bright yellow jacket
• Dark pants
• Black and red shoes with Velcro straps
• Black rimmed glasses
