A post on Boston Pizza’s social media says that despite what it calls a “crazy incident” Sunday afternoon at its Arthur Street location, it will be open for business today.
The “crazy incident” in question occurred when a pickup truck smashed through the wall of the restaurant, fortunately nobody inside was injured.
In a release Thunder Bay Fire Rescue says when crews arrived on scene they quickly determined nobody was trapped inside the rubble, however the driver the the truck suffered minor injuries and had to be extricated.
But, despite being open Monday, Boston Pizza says service will be limited to takeout and the Sports Bar side of the restaurant, which will allow for family dining as a result.
