The federal New Democrats are targeting the Trudeau government on what it calls a lack of action to address the housing crisis in the North.
It notes support programs are running out of funding while there are still hundreds of wait lists for homes.
The NDP is calling on the Liberals to meet with social services boards to step up with funding.
Earlier this month the province unveiled it would increase the Thunder Bay District Social Services Administration Board’s budget by 197% for the next three years and connected the Kenora District Services Board with $1.9 million to address homelessness in that region.
