A Dryden man is facing a single charge of assault following an incident on April 4th, while he was in custody at the Dryden detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police.
It is alleged the 39 year old assaulted a guard around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening, fortunately the injuries sustained were not life threatening.
A release from the OPP states the accused has since been released from custody and is expected to appear in court next month to answer to the charges.
