Thunder Bay OPP are investigating a the theft of materials from a construction site in the Shuniah area.
Officers were called to the new M-T-O inspection scales construction site along Highway 11-17 on March 21st.
There it was determined an individual or group of individuals accessed a Seacan storage container and made off with approximately 12 spools of copper wire, estimated in value at $30k.
The O-P-P’s forensic identification unit has processed the scene, and the investigation remains ongoing.
