Three people are unaccounted for following a Wednesday evening house fire in Pikangikum.
Police assistance was requested shortly before 10 o’clock at night, and by the time officers arrived the home was fully engulfed in flames.
A joint investigation is being undertaken between the Ontario Fire Marshal, the Pikangikum Police Service and the O-P-P’s Criminal Investigation Branch and Forensic Identification Unit.
The scene is currently being held until the arrival of investigators from OFM.
