A collision involving a school bus at the intersection of High and Van Norman on Jan 20, 2023
Thunder Bay Police have charged the driver of the school bus with a red light violation, in connection to a collision last Friday.
Thunder Bay Police, Fire Rescue and Superior North EMS were called to the intersection of Van Norman and High Streets shortly before 3 p.m. when the bus collided with a passenger vehicle.
19 students were confirmed to be on the bus at the time of the incident, fortunately no injuries were reported by any of the occupants in both vehicles.
Both vehicles involved however required a tow, and the collision did cause disruptions to traffic in the area.
