Launching into musical stardom in the 60’s, David Crosby was part of the band The Byrds.
After splitting with The Byrds, Crosby went on to be part of the iconic group, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young that formed in the late 60’s.
His music career spanned six decades and he was always forthcoming about his political activism, especially on the stage.
Known for his temper and battle with addictions, Crosby later expressed regret. He was known for his trademark moustache.
David Crosby passed away after a long illness according to his wife Jan. He was 81.
