A serious motor vehicle collision has closed Highway 11/17 in the Dorion area.
Very few details are available at this time however a social media post from Shuniah Fire and Emergency Services confirms they have been contacted for mutual aid.
A second tweet states crews are on scene and are working to perform an extrication as well as fire suppression support.
The closure to the west of the incident begins at Highway 587.
***UPDATE***
Shuniah Fire and Emergency Services says they have now left the scene, however highway remains closed in both directions at Highway 587 and Nipigon.
