Thunder Bay Police have arrested a man connected to a string of break and enters in the city.
Officers were called to a break and enter at a Pearl street business on January 4th, an investigation revealed another nearby business had been the victim of a break and enter, but had video footage of the culprit.
Officers were able to arrest the 30 year old city man later that day and had him in court on January 5th.
Continued investigation revealed that same person was responsible for a number break and enters at businesses on Bay, Court and May Streets between December 23rd and January 4th.
He has been charged with:
• Break and Enter x 6
• Breach of Probation Order x 5 • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 x 3Police say the value of stolen merchandise totals approximately $10,000 and damage caused to the affected businesses is estimated at several thousand dollars.
