Bus shortages with not enough drivers.
It’s not only a Thunder Bay problem but has become an Ontario-wide issue with several buses staying put with nobody available behind the wheel.
“Cancellations throughout the fall were unfortunately pretty frequent,” says Craig Murphy with Student Transportation Services. “We’ve already seen a couple of cancellations this week but when we weigh that against what we’ve been going through the entire school year it’s kind of normal, which is unfortunate to say.”
Although Northwestern Ontario got hit with a massive amount of snow Tuesday, there were only a few cancellations Wednesday because of the weather.
