Thunder Bay District Health Unit is reporting 54 new cases today in the area.
There have been 44 cases resolved and one additional case in the hospital.
Of the confirmed cases, 19 came from the same household, 26 were contracted from close contact, three became infected after travel out of the area and six cases are still being investigated or are pending.
There are 137 active cases. These include the several cases reported over the weekend from affected schools.
Ontario is reporting 887 new cases, of that 52 per cent of cases are from individuals who either have one dose are their status is unknown.

In Ontario, 24,015,833 vaccine doses have been administered. 90.1% of Ontarians 12+ have one dose and 87.3% have two doses.
