The Thunder Bay Police Service concluded an investigation around an alleged abduction.
A youth (who’s identity is protected accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act) stated to police that a female was being abducted on the night of Nov.29.
Officers arrived to the location where the male youth restated to police that a female he was with was abducted by people in a white pick-up truck.
Investigators reached out to other detachments for assistance and concluded that the 16 year old males statements were false, and that the alleged victim did not exist.
The minor is facing three charges.
